ntrs Services ntrs believes that all waste material is a potential resource. Our goal is to recover and reuse as much of these valuable resources as possible. We believe that at present a great deal of waste is unnecessarily destined for landfill facilities. We understand that all organisations need recycling and waste services designed to meet their unique needs. ntrs is a local service with the specialist capacity to provide organisations with waste management solutions, efficient and effective equipment and comprehensive support & training. ntrs History In 2005 ntrs commenced recycling cardboard and paper from supermarkets and commercial customers. As a result of our success, in 2006, ntrs developed a secure destruction service for commercially sensitive paperwork. A key factor in designed was to ensure all paper is recycled after the destruction process In 2007 ntrs purchased Drums NT, the only steel and plastic drum reconditioning in the NT, to compliment a growing range of services and capacities that included plastics (including plastic shrink wrap) and bumper bars. In addition we acquired an aluminium compression machine enabling the processing of aluminium cans. In 2008 ntrs once again expanded services and capacities with the purchase of an oil filter recycling machine that recycled both the steel and the oil. The fact that it is illegal to dump oil meant that this cost effective and environmentally responsible service rapidly gained popularity. 2008 saw another significant development for ntrs when the Secure Destruction arm achieved approval to collect and destroy material with classification up to “TOP SECRET” During 2009, in response to client demand, ntrs established a commercial and residential general waste service. This service was complimented by a dangerous and hazardous waste service. In order to most effectively meet demand ntrs has acquired state-of-the-art trucks and compaction equipment including Hook-lift, Front-lift and Rear-lift trucks. These developments have established NTRS as the premier recycling and waste management organisation in the NT. |
